Manchester’s gay pride parade is taking place this afternoon as the city celebrates the LGBT community.
Over the course of the weekend, a number of events are being held to mark the city’s diversity.
Will Young, Katy B, MO and Fleur East are all performing today and tomorrow.
The parade will begin at 1pm from Liverpool Street and finish at Fairfield Street.
Drivers are being advised to check their travel plans before setting off.
A candlelit vigil will be held on Monday evening to remember those who have passed away due to HIV.
